Ikea with Popo

We are at Ikea again.. This time with my dear Popo :)

Daddy & Mummy went to Ikea to get me the 6-18 mths sleeping bag.. I'm growing and very soon, the current sleeping bag will no longer fit me.. & I cannot use blanket cause Mummy's says I got itch leg and will kick it away :P

DTPA/HiB/IPV, Pneumococcal & Rotarix - Part 2

I had my 2nd jab of DTPA/HiB/IPV, pneumococcal & rotarix.. This time it was painful and I cried.. After the jab, I had milk and fall asleep..

Daddy & mummy feed me with "bandung" after the jabs.. just to make sure I don't get fever this time..

The teacher and a parent at the infant care centre told mummy that this cream is good and is from USA.. It is also selling in Singapore but expensive..

Mummy is determined to get it for me immediately and she went to 4 Watson stores and finally found it in Takashimaya.. Mummy really has her way :)

I got a surprise gift from Aunty Mika Ipposhi.. all the way from Minneapolis.. The dresses are so beautiful but I can only wear it when I'm 1 year old.. so I need to grow fast..

I'm Down with Fever

My temperature was a little higher then normal last night.. Daddy and mummy sponge me, give me medicine and also stick cooling plaster on my forehead.. I slept all nights and only wake up at 6:30 am for milk.. I still manage to smile at daddy and mummy..



This cooling plaster has got cute penguin print on it.. I still look so GORGEOUS even on cooling plaster :)

DTPA/HiB/IPV, Pneumococcal & Rotarix - Part 1

I had 2 injections and 1 dose of "yogurt" today.. It is 1 vaccine of DTPA/HiB/IPV, 1 vaccine of Pneumococcal and 1 dose of Rotarix.. I didn't feel the pain for the 1st jab.. but 2nd jab was more painful that I burst into tear.. Daddy give me a hug :)

Dr Ong also prescribed 1 oz of paracetamol suspension for me incase I get fever..

Next month, I will have to jabs again.. It is a total of 3 courses..

I'm 3 months old.. I now weight 5.36kg, length 58cm and head circumference 39.5cm.. Mummy says I'm a happy baby..

Colourful Clothes

Aunty Shirley got these new clothes for me while she was on a short business trip to Minneapolis.. She was so excited and keeping buying till my stuff filled her small baggage.. She got me different colour clothes and even brought back the hanger for me.. he!he! :)

Motherhood Fairs 2009

Wake up at 9am.. play, bath, drink milk and back to sleep again.. hehe!! Daddy has to wake me up at 12noon cause we are going to John Little & Motherhood fairs at Singapore Expo.. The place is crowded with students taking CFA exam.. all the restaurants, foods court, fast foods and coffee bean are crowded with people..

We had lunch at Malam noodles house.. Daddy and Mummy ordered dumpling, pork rib noodle soup, mango shrimp and barley water.. & I've my milk milk.. After lunch, daddy brought me 3 blouses, 3 shorts and 2 mitten at the Motherhood fairs :)

No Infant Care on Weekend

No infant care for me today! I wake up at 7.45am.. because.. I POO.. only a little bit cause I want mummy to clean my butt and I think daddy and mummy miss the aroma.. hehe!!

After bath, mummy decided to bring me along to get breakfast.. Mummy want me to go outdoor for sunshine and see greenery.. Daddy carry me and is so comfortable that I fall asleep.. daddy's hand must be aching!!

Today I'm going to be spoilt by daddy and mummy at home!! Play swing swing!! Enjoy milk milk!! Listen to music.. and 撒懒腰!! :)

High Tea for Teachers

Mummy brought a blackforest cake for my teachers at the centre.. to thank them for taking care of me :)

Fourth Day at Infant Care

Today, I decide not to wake up (that's what Julian Gor Gor did) even when mummy trim my nail and put on mitten for me.. I continue to sleep with a smile (act cute).. Hoping that I can stay at home to play.. But it didn't work.. I was carry out of the house.. I tried my best even on the car.. I smile and talk to mummy!

Since it didn't work.. I change my strategic.. Upon reaching the centre, I smile at the teacher who receive me.. Maybe teacher will give me more milk later :)

Third Day at Infant Care

Today I wake up at 7am for milk.. was really sleepy then I realised that daddy & mummy was getting ready to send me the centre.. So I decide to throw out the milk so this will keep mummy busy.. otherwise mummy will idle at home and start to miss me..

On the way to the centre, I was so happy, talkative and keep exercising my hands and legs :)

Second Day at Infant Care

Today I wake up at 7:05am.. I'm excited to go to infant care? Haha!! You are wrong..

I poo every two days.. and today I'm suppose to poo.. I usually poo in the morning before noon.. Mummy is so happy that she don't have to clean my butt..

Sorry Mummy!! I still prefer you to clean my butt.. so I poo before we go to centre.. Leaving behind my diaper so mummy won't miss me.. my aroma will be surround the house :)

First Day at Infant Care

Today I wake up at 7.15am.. So happy that daddy is at home but mummy says I've no idea that I'm 大难临头.. At 8am, daddy and mummy bring me out.. he he!! I end up in a centre with many babies and teachers.. After dropping me, daddy and mummy went for breakfast.. when they return to peek at me, I'm already asleep :)

Hooray! It's weekend again.. Daddy always has activities for me.. Today, we went to Suntec & Marina Square.. Daddy brought lot of stuffs for me.. We also had tea & snack at DOME.. Daddy & mummy had tropical fruitti sundae & a tea set.. I had my milk milk.. After milk, I decided to have a nap.. Daddy & mummy read newspaper.. We had a great day.. As usual, i was very tired after outing..

Short Trip

We made a weekend trip to visit grandma & grandpa.. my twin uncles also came back.. During this 3D/2N trip, daddy & mummy brought new clothes and many diapers for me..

Daddy, mummy and I had a hair cut at the same saloon by the same stylist.. but I ended up as a botok! :O

Swing-Along-Baby

Mummy rent me a swing last night and it was delivered this morning.. When mummy place me into this toy.. I was curious and happy.. I enjoy the swing..



Mummy will get daddy to buy me one if I like it :)

I'm forbidden to cry unnecessary.. if I do, my punishment is to be wrap up like newborn for that night..

Busy Bee

I've a very busy weekend..

Mummy had a follow up appointment with Dr Paul and she bring me along to show him.. Dr Paul says that my head is very round.. Breech baby usual has a round head :) When we reach home, mummy make me sleep cos my 2 cousins, yiyi and po-po came to visit me and we had mother day dinner for po-po..

I was also busy as a model.. I had 3 photo sessions with daddy :) Here is one of the session took on 13 May.. marking my 2 months old!

Gorgeous is 2m old

I'm 2m old today.. I don't cry unnecessary anymore.. I learn to "talk" to daddy and mummy but they don't seem to understand me.. They make silly faces and funny noises.. I really don't know what they are talking about.. sigh!! It is very difficult to understand the adult.. he!he! :)

Happy Mother's Day

Before I was a Mom,
I never tripped over toys
or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not
my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom,
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind
and my thoughts.
I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held down a screaming child
so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night
watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held a sleeping baby just because
I didn't want to put them down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces
when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small
could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom,
I didn't know the feeling of
having my heart outside my body..
I didn't know how special it could feel
to feed a hungry baby..
I didn't know that bond
between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small
could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom,
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night
every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth,
the joy,
the love,
the heartache,
the wonderment
or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much,
before I was a Mom.

Parenthood

Parenthood brings joy and laughter to our life. However, bringing up a child is a challenging voyage. We have to weather the storms as gorgeous grows. I’ve learn that it is a skill of patient and perseverance in nurturing and taking care of gorgeous. Both parents play an equally important role in each day. It can be stressful taking care of gorgeous all day without daddy’s support. I’m grateful that daddy shares the responsibility by feeding, wipe and cuddle gorgeous in the unearthy hours. Sharing the burden, finding possible ways and strategic to deal with different challenge and understanding the needs and wants of gorgeous. I’m confident that we’ll enjoy the journey of bringing up gorgeous.

All About Me!

Daddy brought a new lens which is good for taking portrait photograph..

Of course, naturally I'm the BEST model.. I tried to co-operate with daddy and work very hard to give different facial expression and posture..

It is such a tiring job.. I was rewarded with milk milk after the photo session and I slept for the next 5 hours *snore* *snore*..

Koala Bear & Tree

I've turn myself into a koala bear and mummy into a tree so I can climb and sleep on it..

I even know how to grab on to my tree so I won't fall :).. but am not sure why.. Whenever I'm awake, I'm no longer hanging on my tree.. I appear to be on my bed.. Am I dreaming?

Burp!!

Daddy and mummy are very persistence that I burp after milk milk..

Daddy even come up with a new style to burp me..

Full Month Celebration

We make a trip to gong gong's house, visit to my great grandma and relatives on 09-11Apr.. We spent 4D/3N with gong gong and celebrate my full month.. My 3 cousins also make a trip back to see me.. I'm so happy and everyone so nice to me.. they carry and hug me.. Even gong gong carry me (he never carry infant cos he is scare)..



Grandma ordered roast pork, kueh... and make red eggs for relatives and friends.. Grandma also cook wine chicken and great grandma cook glutinous rice.. At night, we went to the restaurant for dinner..

2nd Hepatitis B Jab

Had my 2nd Hepatitis B jab today.. I am so brave that I only "uh" and never cry..

But mummy says I'm fake.. cos I'll allow Dr Ong to do anything to me without resisting.. hehe!! :)



I now weight 3.8kg, length 52cm and head circumference 37cm..

Next visit would be on my 3 month old for Polio & DTPa /HiB vaccine, Pneumococcus and Rotavirus..

I'm Cranky

I'm suffering from colic.. I was very cranky and throw out milk after feed cause my intestine got gas and is so painful.. Mummy has to cruddle me.. Daddy went to several pharmacy to get Infacol but it is out of stock.. so he got a similar product to help reduce the intestinal gas.. I finally was able to sleep well last night and only wake up every 4 hours for milk..
